Cross Country

Everyday we have cross country unless it is raining then we have jump jam.

The year 7&8 sometime does 4 laps because they are going to sport camp. I am going to sport camp as well .

Walt:making nets.

This week we did nets. We made an isosceles triangle. It was challenging for me because my isosceles triangle was too small.  Then I made another one and it turned out like this. I really like my isosceles triangle. I need more practice. Next I would like  to learn more about nets.

Robin Williams

Walt: write a paragraph

Robin Williams is an actor. He was in all sorts of movies. He was in my niece's favourite movie Happy feet part 1 and part 2. He  was the voice of lovelace in Happy feet.  He  came to NZ in 1999 for a Maori  welcome.  He was born July 21 1951.  But  he died at the age of   63.

He  is from  Chicago, Illinois, United States. He  is entertaining because he  is funny and he makes me laugh.

Scale Drawing

I learned to use scale to enlarge my drawing. I used a scale of 1cm to represent 3cm. This means that my drawing was 3 times bigger. The task was difficult because I could not draw it probably   I need more practice work on this topic. Next I would like to learn more about scale drawing.

Problem:

Samuel was a pessimist, he said that no one would buy the mushrooms because it is yuck.

Solution:

Caleb and Samuel  was selling the mushroom in the front of their house. After that some people came and brought some  mushrooms.

Solution 2:

Then a lot of people was coming one by one to buy some mushrooms.

Solution 3:

Rosie call caleb’s mum and asked her if she can talk to him. Rosie said that she heard about his mushrooms stall and she wanted him to supply.

In this game you have to figure out where to put the fraction. I got it right because I put the fraction on the right number line. Some of the sums were challenging for me. Next time I would like to learn more about decimal.
