Race Relation Day 2014

On Friday 21st of March it was Race Relations Day. All the kids has to come in their church clothes. Mrs Barry was introducing herself. She is a New Zealander. The kids were sitting in a semicircle and the parents were sitting on the stage . Everybody was speaking their first language.

Subtraction - make it true

This game is about subtraction.You have to work out the answer of the question. It took me 28 seconds to figure out five questions.The strategy I used was from my  subtraction basic facts. It was easy to me. Next I want to learn  decimals. May be next time I will try and do it less than 28 seconds.

Using Vegetable dye

Today I have been learning about dye. I did not know that vegetables can be turned into dye. We put onion skin into the boiled water to get the colour quickly.
