Thinking about school

Today I woke up early in the morning to  get ready for school. My mum asked me what am I doing and I said that I'm getting ready to go school. My mum said that there is no school today because it is ANZAC Day. I said ANZAC Day was on Saturday. So my brother woke up and said that there is no school as well. So I went and asked Siua if there is school today. But he said no there's no school today because it is  ANZAC day so I came back home and took off my school uniform and I watched TV.

The Ceremony

Yesterday I was planning to go to the ceremony for the soldiers who was served to Gallipoli  at dawn. But  I woke up late. I really wanted to go to the ceremony because if I went it will be my first time at the ceremony for the soldiers who died in the World War 1. I nearly cried in the morning.

ANZAC Day

On Wednesday we went in front of the school, under the school sign to plant a white cross to remember the soldiers who died in World War 1. I planted the cross for a soldier named Donald Forrester Brown. He was 26 when he died in the WW1.

NZ War Heroes

     

Donald Forrester Brown was born on 23 February 1890. He was born in Dunedin,Otago, New Zealand. Donald Forrester Brown was a farmer. He is a Christian. Donald Forrester Brown is a Sergeant. Donald Forrester Brown was single when he  died on the first of October 1916. Donald. He is five feet and seven inches, 160 pounds.His hair colour was dark brown. He died at age of 26. He died in Fler, France.

My Rugby League Game against Richmond

Today I am having  a game against Richmond. I play for Mount Wellington Warriors.  I hope we win  against Richmond. Wish us Luck.

Family Reunion

Last week was my family reunion. From my dads side.  It was so cool to meet my other cousins. I did not know some of my cousin because I have not met them before. On Saturday we played activities. I only played touch and soccer. But Sunday was church.

Easter Camp 2015

Today I just came back from Easter Camp. it was cool. I made new friends at camp. I lost my voice when I was at camp. My friends at camp are Nathan,Steven,Jamie, Cameron,Taylor,Briana, Callum, Isaac. Raymond, Sami, and Ben. Those are my friends that I met at camp.  I would like to go Easter camp in 2016.

Peak Camp Egypt

April 1916

Dear Mum & Dad

I am in Egypt. We are just playing card games. Tomorrow we are moving to Gallipoli closer to the fight. I am coming home the 11 November 1918. I can’t wait to come back and meet you guys. I miss you. I wish that I was with you right now.

Wednesday is the big day for us because that is when we are planning to do a sneak attack on the Austria people.

The trench are stench. There are rats in the trench. A trench is small walk way. On top of the trench is some  barbe wire . If I don’t make it then I just want yous to know that I love you.

Yesterday when we were getting ready to go sleep. Suddenly a thunderstorm came and it wrecked our camping stuff like our tent, blanket,pillows and our clothes. It nearly blow our tents away because it was winde. So I had to sleep with a wet cloths, wet blanket but muddy bed.

When we get food it is not fresh food because the food get shipped here because there is no helicopters or planes to bring us food. If there was helicopters then we won’t get sick or get any disease.

Problem solving with Mrs Bina

Today we had a maths lesson with Mrs Bina. It was extremely cool. We did problem solving with her. Mrs Bina gave us an example to solve. The example was difficult because she gave us fraction problem. Mrs Bina is a maths facilitator. Maths was interesting. Mrs Bina put us in groups. I did most of the talking in my group. I learned that 3/9 is the same as ⅓. Next I would like to learn more example with fractions.

Trenches

My group and I made a trench because we are studying World War 1. We planned the trench in our book before we received the playdough. In our book we drew sandbags, rats, guns, food, a bed and barbe wire. We chose the easiest plan to make with the playdough. After our teacher saw our plan in our book then she gave us the playdough to make our trench. I worked with Robin and Lorenzo. Robin made the guns and I made the sandbags and the door. The sandbags are easy to make because you can just make a block and it will become a sandbag. Next I would like to learn how did the WW1 end.
